Problem Note 20523: "Problem has been encountered on the server" and "INVALIDCONSTRUCTOR in SASHELP.EMCORE.TOOLDRIVER.SCL" error messages

A modeling node in SAS® Enterprise Miner™ might give the following error:
ERROR: A problem has been encountered on the server.
An error message is displayed in the node log:
ERROR: Exception thrown.
INVALIDCONSTRUCTOR in SASHELP.EMCORE.TOOLDRIVER.SCL at line 989.
This error indicates a problem with the name of the target variable. There are certain reserved prefixes that SAS Enterprise Miner does not allow to be used as target variable names. Here is a list of the reserved prefixes:

If you use one of these reserved prefixes as the name of a target variable, then the target profile does not generate properly.
To prevent the problem, do not use these prefixes as the name of a target variable. There is no other work-around.
